End the drug war would be a great start.

@adhane05 If there is to be a drug war in the USA let it be against the pharmaceutical companies that enable doctors to over prescribe medication to the point of addiction.
adhane05 · 31-35, M
@Abrienda Would you be recommending an entire pharmaceutical reformation? I'm down with that. Prosecute all the pill-pushers for profit and open up more drug treatment facilities and have proper care/treatment for all drug addicts. Legalize all drugs and release the drug addicts from prison and give them all the help they need. We need to start caring about people again and not give pills out like candy.

The current "war on drugs" is no different from gun confiscation. Why doesn't anyone see this? It's okay for men with guns to say it is not okay to another man he cannot have a gun? Oh, that's different though because these men have uniforms and special badges and they are only trying protect us. Ask any gun control advocate if they trust their government. If they answer no, then ask them who do they want controlling the guns? The bloody government has more blood on it's hands than any mass shooter can only dream of and they have all the weapons. Except for the law-biding, armed citizens.

How about we break up teachers unions too? Many teachers care more about their paychecks more than they care about the students. A kid who is bullied or made fun of every single day by the same kids they have known since grade school and the teachers will just let it happen or sometimes participate in the bullying because he is very different than the other kids. Hold the teachers accountable for their neglectful behavior and lets start caring about the kids and properly educating them on guns, just in case the police doesn't feel using their guns as the shooter gets away with murder. We need to start holding police accountable for their laziness. What is the point in dialing 911 if the police show up and not do anything? Massive reform for all police departments would be great!

@adhane05 Thank you for your reply,

When police departments instruct their officers to wait OUTSIDE a building counting the gun shots coming from INSIDE a building where children are being murdered (who lost their job over that? Oh well never mind), then reformation is needed. Or when only one corporation has control of nearly every form of access we have to information (Google), or forced to join an organization and pay them monthly fees or else you cannot work (teacher unions) yes that needs to be changed or you are not free people any longer.

@LongDistanceRecon636 Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you talking about drugs when you say "Unmake" them. It sounds to me you are insinuating I was meaning we need to stop making drugs. 🤔

Which is impossible, if that's the case. 😅
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@adhane05 If you mean me of course not and don't see how you could think I did. But as someone who specializes in pharmacology I know there is an opioid epidemic in your country and that your politicians think anti-depressants are a substitute for a stable family life.

@adhane05 There is no way to end a war you cannot win.. Government makes too much money to even think of ending it.. It would be like America not buying oil from the Saudis,, just impossible...
adhane05 · 31-35, M
@Abrienda I was speaking to the LongDistance guy, he typed "Unmake" in quotes and I'm not sure what he was referencing.

It's kind of funny how I always taught, "Say no to drugs" coming from a public school and it wasn't that long ago.
adhane05 · 31-35, M
@ChatterinSeuss You're probably right, but it is something I believe in even if it's impossible to take appropriate action to end the drug war.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@adhane05 Thanks for the clarification!!!
