I Am American

[big]17 Dead in a High School[/big]

There are days when we worry about the culture of our nation. Our absurd gun culture has resulted in another school shooting, 17 dead. Thanks to the absurdly wrong interpretation of our Constitution Americans have been convinced that it is their right to own guns and we are the ONLY nation in the world that has this insane attitude toward guns and a destructive culture. Almost one mass shooting per day. According to Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit organization that tracks gun-related death and injury, reports said there were 345 mass shootings in the U.S. in 2017. So far this year – and we’re only in February – there are estimated to be at least 17 shootings in schools.

The next question is where did the weapons used come from? Where they legally owned or stolen?

I am sure you've heard the reason than when it is no longer legal to own weapons, the only ones with weapons will be criminails and a police state.
@VeronicaJane that argument would apply in any country, including the dozens of developed ones which have just a tiny fraction of the gun deaths per head of population that the U.S. has.
