I Have a Confession

Aurora suspect James Holmes should be executed, say prosecutors James Holmes was a former neuroscience graduate student at the University of Colorado, Denver

Prosecutors have said they will seek the death penalty for the man accused of killing 12 people last July at a cinema in the US state of Colorado.
On Friday, prosecutors rejected an offer from James Holmes to plead guilty in order to avoid execution.
The 25-year-old is charged with multiple counts of murder and attempted murder in the attack in Aurora, one of the worst mass shootings in US history.

I agree. But they need to think this through. What happens if now he pleads insanity and gets a much milder sentence? Doing what he did he could pull that off. A guaranteed life sentence in prison vs a chance of him getting out eventually. Not to mention all you need is one bleeding heart and they wont convict ba<x>sed on the death penalty.

he can get away with insanity. it woudl go with long term insanity vs temporary. so he gets some meds and a light sentence because he plays that off. i am not saying it is right, i am saying in this bleeding heart world he can get away with the "its not my fault defense". i think he should be strung up in public and left there till he drops from decomposition. But i believe in paying for your actions.

He offered to plead guilty as long as he got life....that would indicate sanity to me.

That was probably his lawyer's idea.

I think he should be placed in the "race war" section of the prison and let it be over with.
