We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people. - John F. Kennedy (Remarks on the 20th Anniversary of the Voice of America; Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, February 26, 1962)

People who think misinformation hurts people are idiots who want very much to hurt people with misinformation. It's like that spoiled pansy on the school playground who doesn't realize it's only a matter of time until he gets the ass kicking he deserves. Uh, Dumacrats.

@BibleData uh republicans!

It's ok to out shout and over rule others free speech!

That's how you CONTROL your points of view.

This is exactly what Musk intends. Let a hand full of loud mouth people to control the flow of the conversation. So only their free speech is heard.

Republicans always want to control people. Yet the moment they get outshouted it's unfair. And they start blocking so only their free speech is heard.

This is why extremism is wrong. Rules need to be adhere to so it doesn't become a free for all fight and everyone starts blocking everyone else.

Blocking is a sign of intolerance. it's not needed if you respect others freedom of speech.

@DeWayfarer
uh republicans!

Republicriminals and Dumacrats. They're just a lame ass distraction for idiots and ideologues.

That's how it works. For both. Right now, the Dumacrats are far worse than the Republicriminals. Worse than anyone has ever been. More idiotic than anyone has ever been. For a long time the Republicriminals were. It's like the WWF. They take turns being the fake good or bad guy in the show, but they're really puppets paid by someone behind the scenes. BOTH of them paid by the same people.

Everything about it is fake. The idiots think that if their party was in power it would be different. It would be great. But it never is. Why? The other guys won't let them do the great things. Add fake boogey men to distract from that. Communists, terrorists, plandemics next probably extraterrestrial aliens. Whatever. The trick is to ignore it. It's just fake.

@BibleData yet you specifically insult them yourself with...

Dumacrats

I do not insult anyone! Both Democrats nor Republicans.

Please note I use the proper terms!

@DeWayfarer That's the price you pay for the illusion of free speech. You refrain from calling idiots idiots and perpetuate Idiocracy.

Let the idiots speak. How else would we know they were idiots.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@BibleData it's called respect. If you show it perhaps you might receive a little bit of it.

Free for alls are not free speech. That's chaos.
BibleData · M
@DeWayfarer Respect criminals and idiots? Respect the intolerant tolerant? Respect the illusion? The lie? Then you get criminals, idiots, intolerance and lies. See? Nothing is free. You get what you pay for.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@BibleData you get chaos without rules. Without rules there is no society.

Being respectful is a rule worth having.
BibleData · M
@DeWayfarer Rules apply to everyone. Not just to Republicriminals on Twitter. That's the problem with liars and illusionists when it comes to rules. Only a liar would expect Twitter to be a haven for Dumacrats and then cry when the new boss turned the tables on them.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@BibleData that's the problem when you enforce rules by committee.

Software can easily handle it like on this site.

Yet to get rid of the rules is as well insane.
