My take on that guy, is he is not serious. He's "virtue signaling" the "correct" opinion on Trump and MAGA.
I don't think he really cares all that much.
What he DOES care about, is saying things that young, liberal females will find appealing, and he is hoping to make a love connection over a shared interest in politics.
It's entirely fake and that's why he really doesn't care to defend or explain his positions...they aren't important, what is important is he said them in public and he is hoping to get noticed.
It's also why he's a massive hypocrite. He doesn't really believe these things, he's going along to get along.
