Kevin Underwood Is Having A Bad Day Today And It’s His 45th Birthday….
No sympathy for him though. He murdered 10-year old Jamie Rose Bolin in 2006 after luring her into his apartment telling her he would show her his pet rat. She sat in the living with the tv playing cartoons and he walked up behind her and hit her over the head with a cutting board repeatedly. She started telling him she was sorry and begged him to stop. Then he strangled her and molested her body before decapitating her with a sword. When her father came home (he lived in the apartment above Underwood), he called the police to report her missing. The police went door-to-door and entered Underwood’s apartment. They found her body in a large covered tub in his closet, meat tenderizer, barbecue skewers, sex toys and other things. He admitted to the murder saying he was going to burn in hell. He had planned out this and even had posted on Facebook that he was interested in cannibalism. I have wondered if anyone would have reported him to Facebook if this murder could have been prevented.
Underwood claims to be remorseful for the murder. But in 2022 he wrote to a penpal that he wondered if there was sex in heaven where every fantasy of his could be acted out. He admitted after his arrest that the murder and plan of cannibalism was a sexual fantasy.
@Musicman When the police were at his apartment and found the body in that plastic tub Underwood remarked “I am going to burn in hell” His defense lawyers argued at every appeal hearing that he suffers from mental illness but it’s pretty clear that he knew right from wrong when he committed the crime.
