I'm afraid to go out
Especially in the area that I live in. It's a huge hotspot for crime. I'm afraid to go out and I'm afraid that if I do I'll get murdered. Murder has been rising higher and higher... I wish I can just get out of this place.

Please stay safe! Like others have suggested, it may be time to relocate.
I use to live in and around Atlanta. While some areas were better than others, generally I didn't feel safe anywhere near the city. I use to travel a lot for work, so I would have to commute to the airport A LOT. I'm not sure why, but the area around Hartsfield is MUCH MUCH worse than the rest of Atlanta.
I finally moved about 40 minutes away via I-85 from the city, and instantly felt better about my area. Rent was cheaper too, so I could afford the better parking spaces at the airport. Just my two cents.
