In Trump’s defamation lawsuit against the BBC, the BBC is playing hardball now: subpoenaing former Special Counsel Jack Smith for his deposition. Meanwhile, the court is demanding Trump explain why he’s evading his deposition. Katie Phang breaks down the relevant filings & explains why it’s likely Trump will drop his lawsuit to avoid his deposition.
My comments:
tRUMP has really stepped in it now! By suing the BBC for $ 10 billion, tRUMP has opened himself up to discovery. Not only will tRUMP be forced to sit for a deposition, Jack Smith has also been subpoenaed for his deposition.
tRUMP’s lawyer has tried stalling and obstructing, but the judge has had enough of that!
By Thursday we’ll see where this is going next! One thing’s for certain: Jack Smith is ready—and cry baby Demented Donnie has only himself to blame!
