SCOTUS says “there is religious freedom for me but not for thee”

In a 6 - 3 decision along ideological lines, the SCOTUS overturned a lower court order that a Rastafarian cannot pursue suing the prison officials who sheared his dreadlocks.

This is in defiance to a 2000 federal order which requires the criminal Justice system to protect the religious rights of prisoners in state prisons.

@jshm2 Also a violation of federal law and the Religious Freedom of service members.

Hopefully there are some legal challenges queuing up…
