It looks like one federal judge has had just about enough of Trump DOJ lawyers who are misleading the court.
This story exposes the dangerous depravity of the Trump administration, and it's almost to corrupt to be believed: a Department of Homeland Security official told a DOJ attorney to hide from a federal judge the fact that a defendant who was appearing in court and seeking release had an outstanding murder warrant for his arrest issued by another country.
The DOJ attorney agreed to hide that critically important information from the judge and the judge released the defendant.
After successfully concealing the information from the judge, a DHS official railed against the judge for releasing the defendant, posting: "An activist judge appointed by Joe Biden released this wanted murderer back into the American communities."
This level of corruption, depravity, and deception is almost beyond belief.
The good news is the judge is ordering an investigation and possible sanctions for the DOJ attorney and DHS, as this video discusses.
My comments:
Wow! Simply, wow! This CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND!
1. The attorney, Kevin M. Bolan, should be disbarred. This is beyond unethical—his deceit resulted in the release of a man facing murder charges and threats against the judge he misled. But disbarment is NOT enough—he should serve prison time.
2. The DHS official should be fired and criminally charged. DHS should face severe legal consequences as well—both criminal and civil.
3. FAUX News should be held in contempt as well as face legal consequences for not properly vetting the story and spreading the falsehood. If it is determined that FAUX News knowingly conspired with DHS or this lawyer, then the consequences must be extreme.
