Mens Rea / Criminal Mind
There's this annoying politician in our country, he said something along the lines, "we are all guilty of lying and stealing, what matters is that we repent".
He doesn't sound like someone who has an ounce of "remorse" or "repentance". He just says it, just for the sake of the word without actually embodying it. Action speaks louder than words.
He lose his manners in hearing sometimes when he's arguing with somebody else. He talks like some kind of a hard-sell marketer or vendor, who's so incessant in gaslighting, as if people are too dumb to even notice.
But, what can we do as ordinary citizens. They are the ones in power who would do everything to remain there.
