Is it right to put someone in jail for being a degenerate?

Women who had sex with Weinstein are women who wanted to. They have nothing else to offer. They wanted to get rich and become famous actresses. Why do men get into trouble for this?

If he used his position of power to strongarm women into having sex, that would be wrong, but not illegal. However, he also raped several women.

@emiliya There was an audio recording where Weinstein admitted to groping women, plus there were over 100 women who accused him of rape.
Maybe some of them were lying, but when there are that many accusers, at least some of them have to be telling the truth. Especially when it comes to both the topic and the person. Same goes for the Cosby and Diddy accusers.

@BohemianBabe He could have been talking about the models and actresses who let him touch them. You must know that this happens. When this model said she “was not used to that” and seemingly refused, he said she will not see him again. The implication is that he was not going to help her with her career. The implication is not that he was threatening to rape her. How can he be a rapist when he was telling her to go away if she is not going to play ball? She refused, and he said “bye.” He did not proceed to rape.
