tRUMP and the SCOTUS
Demented Donnie keeps running to the SCOTUS like a four year old runs to their parents every time a lower court tells him “No!” with his ridiculous overreaches of the Office of the President—specifically with “Executive Orders” for petty things.
As of now, by my count, he has 11 such “Emergency Appeals” pending before the SCOTUS.
The main purpose of the SCOTUS isn’t to constantly be reigning in a rogue POTUS. If the Republicans in Congress weren’t just rubber stamping every insane thing Demented Donnie throws against the wall, then they would be doing their task of balancing that rogue branch. Instead, they’re shirking their responsibilities on to the Supreme Court. There are important matters of Constitutional Law that are being held in abeyance because the SCOTUS is wasting an exorbitant amount of their time & schedule on these petty issues that were already decided by lower federal courts.
It’s bad enough tRUMP is wrecking our economy, our infrastructure, initiated a stupid global trade war, alienated us from our former allies, emboldened Russia & North Korea, imported the Tate brothers, pissed off Canada/Mexico/NATO/Denmark/Greenland/Panama, etc., is ruining the VA, FAA, military services, CDC, HHS, Social Security, FEMA, the Department of Education, etc.
Must he now decapitate the third branch of government?
