I'm a court reporter

I have 7 hearings today back to back. I'm so tired. I just finished the 5th hearing tho. Only 2 more left 😭😭😭😭😭

You guys are magicians. I still can’t understand how it works and I don’t want to.

In my jurisdiction they did away with live transcription about 20 years ago. Everything is digitally recorded and transcripts are only available if ordered by a party or the court.

@InMyPrime eh after being here for a year I kinda tune out the words and just type like a drone. Sometimes cases r super interesting and I'm listening to all the tea though

I am sure You hear things that give You nightmares at times. I always got a kick out of the Court Reporter on the original 1980's Night Court.
