I really don't understand the attitude here.

[media=https://youtu.be/o5EE2yz2VB0]

Like I do hold our courts in contempt and am proud to be guilty of that fact, I consider it an an honor truly.

I think our government is in the business of ruining peoples life on a permanent basis for rather petty and meaningless offenses and trival bullshit that is hardly worth being put on a permanent record and thus causing employment difficulties for the rest of people's lives.

very little of what happens in our nations courts are actually serious offenses, mostly low level non violent drug offenders and VERY petty thieves. Very small scale.

But I am afraid of our nations judges.

So I know enough to feign respect in court and pretend like I kiss their asses when I really want to watch their whole house of injustice burn to the the ground.

most of our "Criminals" are victims of a system that was never about justice to begin with.'

I choose not to openly act out my contempt or display it in a court room.

I don't support the death penalty.

@DylanGuy Nor do I.

I think our falsely labled justice system is too foucsed on punitive action and not enough at all on rehabilitation.

admittedly some can't be rehabilitated but just keep them locked away. A lot of those peoples true crime is desperation.

like property crime is as a bad as it is because of widespread poverty.

@PDXNative1986 Also death isn't a punishment. The death "penalty" only exists really for people's satisfaction.

@DylanGuy No shit, closure is a myth too constructed by a predatory cottage industry that loves to pillage people's grief.

killing those who robbed us of our loved ones won't bring them back. Nor will it end our grief over their loss.

@PDXNative1986 I believe in closure. But it's brought about a natural resolution and not a decided end.
