Should Child Protective Services take baby away from mother if she is making jokes about sacrificing it?

If both parents have a history of violence towards humans and animals, criminal records, mental illness and drug abuse/rehab/halfway house, why does CPS let them keep their infant? If these messages were shown in court or a CPS investigation, what would allow Sarah Autumn Beal aka Serah Sbizzle to keep the baby?

I think at the least an investigation is called for. I would take the baby to ensure the baby’s safety that is if I was with the cps

@specman Agreed, those are totally grounds for an investigation.

In my limited understanding, CPS does two things wrong (1) they take kids away from their parents, and (2) they FAIL TO take kids away from their parents. CPS is an impossible job, but they're all we've got, and they should get in there and study the whole situation.
