I Can Not Stand Child Abuse

Nothing disgusts me more than the idea of a adult abusing a child. I have seen how abuse affects children first hand and I have seen what some people will do to their own child. It's not pretty. It leaves them scared of every little thing and affects their mental stability.

Thank you Karen for bringing this dark chapter into more general forefront. People must know about this. These happenings are usually hidden away, and many times neither the victim nor the closest friends have a real clue why the person is incredibly scared of everything. One of my girlfriends was hyper scared of everything, and neither she nor I ever knew why. It finally drove us apart. Now, years later I put that together with some of the things that she told me about her father, and I finally understand what probably happened. My ex-girlfriend's entire life appears to have been severely messed up because of these happenings.
