This child is so self absorbed that I believe she has a narcissistic personality already and being exposed to child beauty pageant sadly only compounds it.

Her reaction is rather shallow even for a child that age and she is not connecting with what is happening around her.In fact I find it rather creepy.

When people are that determined to win they will not really stop and think how to go about it ethically.And YES it does sexualise those children, just think of the tragedy of little Jo-Bennet.

At times she looked like a little robot.She was totally self absorbed and detached from what was going on around her and never had a pertinent answer to questions posed to her by the interviewer.

I'm not sure I totally agree with you... I think she's just acting like a normal child her age but is obviously not fitting into the phony role they're trying to create for her.
