It doesn’t make sense

Throughout history, the age of consent has been much lower and more in line with both male and female growth and maturity. I knew many people that have married that had to go get their parents consent to be married and are living very happy lives. While I know this isn’t the case for everyone in that there are times when the wicked exploit youthful ignorance I think that putting an arbitrary number that says you’re mature enough to give consent is ludicrous. There have been multiple studies done by Health and Human Services and the national Institute of health that seem to indicate that as we increase the age of one is considered to be an adult the more they seem to be emotionally stunted and immature. God did not make us to be 20 or 30 year old babies, he made us to be good God-fearing people that can adapt and raise good families.

That should be all that matters not weather you reach a certain age.
