I Question The Age Of Consent

There's such a variation across the world to show there's reason for debate. The idea is not to pressurize someone into having sex, but even that's debatable! What is pressure?

It is an adult decision because the consequences are so adult in severity, so the person needs to be adult in their viewpoint. Again this is a debatable thing and so there must be a debate, a global debate and then the facts be enshrined in the international standards maintained by the international community.
It is 16 here which seems reasonable.I have problems with countries where it is younger. And indeed older if there any.But whatever it is there are those who ignore it and with all the religious and cultural differences a global age of consent is a bit of difficult thing to achieveAnd no one should be pressurised to have sex no matter
their age.

It makes no sense for there to be different ones indeed. Also maturity is more important than age, but it's impossible to make a law for that.
