We can only hope the authorities analysed the 'phones thoroughly before returning them.
We cannot expect the Police to reveal anything significant found on the 'phones. It would be very wrong of them to do so, and I am surprised by that comment by "ABAPreach".
Further, I don't know what if any charges are laid against the brothers for offences under US law and committed on US territory; but they were also arrested for extradition to the UK. Hopefully the US Police will have sent any such telephone information to their UK counterparts.
As far as I know the Tates are not accused of being paedophiles, but of other sexual offences, and of tax-evasion.
