what he did was horrific and beyond evil, but i think that you should not punish evil with evil, it's only god who can judge Huntley...the thug who killed him, is just as bad as Huntley, no one has the right to enact divine punishment, only god above has.

@AbsolutelyFabulous He was undoubtedly evil, guilty of two utterly despicable murders, and imprisoned along with other violent nobodies; but there is no more justification for violence and murder among prison inmates than in the outside world.
We don't yet know what will happen to Huntley's killer, but I would have thought the charge would be manslaughter if not murder.
I'm only surprised though that Huntley was given a 40-year rather than whole-life tariff - but it would not have guaranteed his release. The tariff means "at least", not "limited to", x years.
