Officials say Alex Pretti ‘brandished’ a weapon, but have offered no evidence. Why that term matters

Noem & Bovino both made official statements immediately following the murder of Alex Pretti that:
1. He was a terrorist
2. He was “brandishing a gun”
The videos clearly show that Alex Pretti was taking video with his cellphone, had his legal gun in it’s holster on his hip, came to the defense of a woman an ICE agent viciously threw to the ground, was jumped by at least 6 ICE agents, an agent removed his gun FROM HIS HOLSTER while at least 5 other agents viciously beat him while he was lying on his back on the ground, and those agents shot him in cold blood at least 10 times.
He NEVER TOUCHED HIS GUN and those agents KNEW IT—this was COLD BLOODED MURDER!
