Kind of funny how George W Bush came up with the Axis of Evil

I wonder if he had the US and its many invasions and regime changes and bombings in mind when he came up with that broad brush?

In addition to Afghanistan and Iraq, the Bush administration supposedly had Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia, and Sudan as their next targets for regime change.
