Kilmar Abrego Garcia's lawyers have pointed out to a Federal Judge in a new filing that the Trump DOJ has produced absolutely 0 evidence to prove to the Court that they are NOT vindictively prosecuting him, no witnesses and no documents, so the Court should just dismiss the criminal indictment immediately. Popok reports on this development and Judge Xinis making a decision soon on whether Garcia goes free for violations of his civil rights and liberties.

U.S. District Judge Waverly Crenshaw filed an order ...

"Government employees have made extrajudicial statements that are troubling, especially where many of them are exaggerated if not simply inaccurate," Crenshaw writes.

He lists a number of examples of prohibited statements as outlined in the local rules for the U.S. District Court of Middle Tennessee. They include any statements about the "character, credibility, reputation, or criminal record of a party" and "any opinion as to the accused's guilt or innocence."

"DOJ and DHS employees who fail to comply with the requirement to refrain from making any statement that 'will have a substantial likelihood of materially prejudicing' this criminal prosecution may be subject to sanctions," his order reads.

@ElwoodBlues Seems so! They are refusing to even have their “witnesses” testify.

Of course, we all knew all along that there was no case here. And then the egregious lengths they went through to imprison, illegally deport him, lie about being unable to get him back, etc….

I hope that he and his young family get a huge settlement. And I hope tRUMP personally pays a severe penalty in this disgrace!

It's BS, as well as Burden Shifting. Which is basically every suit Trump files, as well as everything that comes out of his mouth.

When there are facts, they're as likely as not to be "alternate facts," and its based on contempt for others as well as institutions.

One sad thing about all this is, its killing what little trust there is in the government and all those who work for it.
