@SatanBurger If you think that Trump or his non existing cuts had anything to do with the manning of the tower that night you have extreme TDS going on. Were they understaffed? I have no idea. I heard there were 10 controllers on duty that night. One of them decided they wanted to go home half way through his shift leaving only one in charge. That in and of itself was not unusual according to reports I heard. That goes back to Biden not Trump and no I won't blame Biden either. Reason being I don't know if the crash was the fault of poor ATC work or not. Years ago I was listening to a tape of the ATC working Oshkosh during the big fly in they have every year. The tower was prattling on and on lining up all the aircraft. He lost the picture (ATC language) and the last words he said were "I QUIT", He slammed the mic down and walked off the job. All the aircraft continued to land and takeoff without incident. One pilot said that he flew there and was shocked to find no functioning tower. He said he simply picked another airplane's tail and followed it until it was his turn to land.

And I'd say that Trump supporters make a good case that there needs to be more mental health help for people as most have the dunning Kruger effect plus covert narcissism. They are weirdly overt about narcissism but they have a victim mentality which makes me think of covert. Since covert narcissists big tell is victimhood. The great white replacement conspiracy theory reminds me of that and thinking DEI hires actually exclude you just because you're a white male. Very victim like and conspiratorial minded which results from life not working out for you in some way.
There's no cure for narcissism but there is a guy on YouTube who was clinically diagnosed and helps others identify narcissists so they can get help.
I do think a lot of Trump supporters make the case for more needed mental health care though and if anything, we need the department of education even more as believing that the Holocaust never happened is a result of poorly educated red states.
