though it doesn't explain why Trump would commute his sentence. The guy had lived on Staten Island and was also a predatory lender; maybe Trump owed him $$??

@bijouxbroussard Yeah, most of Trump's last minute pardons involved very rich people who had been convicted of various financial crimes. Donny seems to have a real soft spot for financial criminals!
But this guy Jonathon Braun was a big time drug dealer with a taste for punching people. Probably very rich with offshore drug profits though!

@ElwoodBlues One thing Trump’s particularly proud of is that he doesn’t "indulge". He doesn’t even drink, says he saw what alcohol did to his brother Fred.

@bijouxbroussard Yes, alcohol did damage in part of my family too, and I do respect his abstinence (whoa, tough word: abstain / abstinence). However there are strong rumors that he abused or abuses ADHD drugs such as adderall.
