why do usa police cuss and swear when arresting people? they never do in uk,

ive seen many usa police chase vids and when they catch the driver they have guns drawn and lots of swearing, why, no need for swearing very unproffessional, in uk its all filmed by body cam so swearing would go against the cop in court
SW-User
UK police do shout and use unnecessary force.

US police also have body cams. Did you watch these American police officers in a show or was it filmed by their body cams?
SW-User
@jefferson wouldn't it make them more human? Why the pretense?

@jefferson Uk police commonly turn their body cams off

@SW-User when I got arrested neither of the police officers had body cameras on in fact they didn’t have them ( nothing bad )

a technique called "verbal judo" meant to intimidate people into compliance.

we are a rude bunch - and sometimes need violence to be apprehended.
jefferson · M
@Pretzel why the suspect was handcuff d and on his face, no need,
Pretzel · 61-69, M
@jefferson most agencies say if there is resistance or the person is considered violent; they are to be put ont he ground and handcuffed

it gets carried to extreme - sometimes major ones

and yet it is very common for a copy to be assaulted

The US is gun with the wind. There were shootings on Mothers Day and there were shootings on Fathers Day. etc, etc.

@SW-User I’ve had 3 phones taken over different charges yet I’ve never been convicted of anything. I’ve also only received 2 back. 1 was kept for a year and the other for 5 months

@SW-User I was lucky enough to get off with my convictions. Truthfully I just hired a really good solicitor. I’ve made an enquiry about the phone recently I had forgotten about it until I was looking for my prom photos and my mother pointed out I had the phone taken by police. I’m sorry you had such a bad experience with them. I’ve met a few good ones in my years but unfortunately the majority of our police force are vile humans
