Do you think people should be arrested for being smelly ?

People should not be arrested for being smelly.
Government-backed proposals in the Criminal and Justice Bill could see someone face prison for causing damage by creating "excessive smells" and not moving on when told by the authorities.

Under the bill, it is proposed police or local authorities will be able to issue "nuisance begging directions" to move people on, and if they do not comply they face a month in prison.

Yeah and put in a rehabilitation center for people with bad hygiene until they learn the importance of healthy hygiene.

Imagine how stinky Moses and Jesus were after going without food and water for forty days and forty nights. And Moses did it twice!

@Diotrephes very stinky I can only imagine🤢…. But wait what if it didn’t mean go without washing? Didn’t they ritualistically wash as a form of cleansing them selves before God?

So, here you are lounging on a mountain or in a hot desert. You have enough water to take a bath but don't have enough to drink? Maybe you should think about your priorities. And remember, Jesus and the apostles didn't wash before eating. So, they were dirty and stinky but they had clean feet and Jesus loved to douse himself with perfume.

Mark 7:2 (CEB) = "They saw some of his disciples eating food with unclean hands. (They were eating without first ritually purifying their hands through washing."

@Diotrephes wasn’t it for fasting? Going without food or water for 40days? I recall it being for fasting purposes

No human on this planet can go for forty days and forty nights without food and water.

Fake news. Dick Gregory rotated forty days with water (not tap water) and forty days with juices.

As a general rule of thumb, a person can survive without water for about 3 days. However, some factors, such as how much water an individual body needs, and how it uses water, can affect this.

Any longer and the person will suffer debilitating organ damage.
