Eastman showing signs of increasing desperation
John Eastman has filed a poorly reasoned & poorly written request to speed up the RICO trials by breaking up the co-defendants into two groups and have Quad Indicted’s trial last. He appears to be asking to move up the date to finalize the submission of guilty pleas as well.
Eastman is clearly facing escalating legal expenses and is complaining that he is having to draw from his wife’s retirement savings to cover his expenses. The longer this drags on, the more his legal expenses escalate. Well, Johnie Boy, maybe you shouldn’t have plotted an insurrection? You think?
It wouldn’t surprise me if he seeks a proffer. QI is furious with Eastman—just another of those best people he hires, right?
