Since when the the media start calling looters a "flash mob?"
Police won't even respond to this in many areas due to politics. Business owners get screwed. Insurance premiums rise. They end up moving or closing down entirely. If they stick around, they pass the cost on to the customers who are already dealing with inflation.

@BizSuitStacy but don’t the owners of the business get a payment from insurance if they get looted

@Monalisaa1986 Just like with cars many business owners have liability only insurance. Some are covered some are not. In the end the people who live there end up paying either by loosing the store because it closed or higher prices to pay increased insurance costs.

@BizSuitStacy also if the looting occurs during an actual riot the insurance companies do not pay

@Monalisaa1986 Ever try collecting from an insurance company? Their entire business model is based on collecting as much as they can in premiums, and paying out as little as possible in settlements. A business owner never recoups 100% of their losses.
