I understand the call for tougher gun laws but gun laws are about as effective as drug laws. You could completely outlaw them and people would still get them. Same with drugs. Ask Tim McVeigh how necessary guns are to kill people. Well, he’s dead so you can’t really ask him. I’ve worked around felons for 33 years. None of them are worried about gun laws that are on the books and the ones that haven’t been passed yet. You could melt them all down and the next day some nut case will drive a plane into a building.

@YourMomsSecretCrush Why do people not grasp that restricting some guns is not banning all of them ?
@bijouxbroussard because many of them are for full bans. But honestly more restrictions or outright banning will not stop the killings. For that you would have to wipe out hate.

@YourMomsSecretCrush I don’t see how anyone in the U.S. could think a full ban on all guns is possible or even wanted. But there are guns people weren’t using before that have become go-tos because they can be used to kill groups of people.
