do you ever feel insecure now

in these times when some people think law and order is breaking down, if you were ever bothered by anybody dubious or approached, do you feel insecure that you would not be able to rely on the police to protect you?

or is that nonsense and the police are still there to protect and serve if you got in any danger from criminals or dubious groups?
