He continues to attack the prosecutor and judge as well as potential witnesses. It is becoming clear that he will not STFU and will need to be jailed pending trial. That appears to be exactly what he wants so he can play the martyr.

You could very well be right about that. If being indicted is nothing but a fundraising move for him, and he's desperate for money, being jailed would be the logical next step.
