@Gloomy wrong. In fact there are no police in my town. The nearest police presence is a state police barracks about 40 minutes away. I have the means, skills and attitude to protect my own property. Drop by at night and find out.

In the many decades I’ve been well armed I’ve never committed an offense civil or criminal.

@redredred I can defend myself and my community yet expecting proper working institutions from the people for the people is not advocating for dependance.
Expecting institutions to train people so they can proffessionally care for and protect their communities is a reasonable thing.
