@Quoththeraven My husband accepted the request of his best friend who is the sheriff of the county our farm is located in to become an Axillary deputy. For just in case, but he knows how to use the radio, knows their codes, can shoot and gets training about police tactics . I told the sheriff I didnt want him in harm's way. He said if they had a couple Aux. deputies they got more funding and that he would provide my husband with the highest rated body armor and tactical training. Where the cuffs come in is that he had to practice arresting people, so me and the kids volunteered. Then while at the farm I was supposed to be a bad guy that he pulled over, my hubby didnt know that I was armed with a airsoft gun that the sheriff gave me and wanted me to shoot my hubby with. I got cuffed and stuffed into the police car instead. I got arrested and finger printed a bunch. Then the other deputies wanted to train so I volunteered and got cuffed again. 😉
