Should I do it?

With a passion, I've always wanted to be a police officer but there's just so much hate toward police these days and I know people would judge me and potentially try to kill me just for being a cop.

for every cop hater theres probably at least 10 decent law abiding folk who would greatly appreciate you and thank you for your service. it is probably a dangerous job though. my two boy cousins are police officers. one says its not a fun job.
