How do police treat their victims?

th3r0n · 41-45, M
The word victim pretty much says it all, there are some good cops out there but it don’t take a lot of cops to destroy a city

If getting caught committing a crime makes you a victim then please allow them to relocate you to a facility where you are safe and get 3 meals a day, free of charge 🙄

There's good and bad in all professions, but in law enforcement the bad tends to be more heinous, considering the powers we grant them to fulfill their duties; a lot of scope for poor judgment and weak egos to escalate issues beyond the necessary.

That said, there're literally millions of interactions between law enforcement and civilians each year, and I would say the vast majority are positive.

That's not to say there aren't systemic issues in law enforcement around the world. For instance, in the UK our police force is currently facing problems at the employment stage, in that our vetting process may be allowing undesirable candidates to be hired as police officers.

There's way too much victimization going on here.

Once citizens or suspects become victims, we've got a bigger problem.
i dont generalize police.. there's good and bad cops
