Hello Americans! What are your thoughts about the arrest of Karen Garner in Loveland Colorado in 2020?

For info, Karen Garner is a 74 year old dementia sufferer. She was 73 at the time and weighed less than 100lbs.
She was arrested for failing to pay for goods at a shop.
During the arrest, her arm was broken and a shoulder dislocated. She didn’t receive any medical attention for 6.5 hours. Whilst she was sat in a cell, the numerous officers involved were sat at the station desk watching their body cam footage, laughing about the events and describing the “pop” her arm made as it was forced out of her shoulder socket.
Following an attorney obtaining the station footage, the police chief stated that he knew nothing of the incident until the footage was aired. He also (along with numerous other senior officials) claimed this was an isolated incident, and the department is honest and hard serving.
What do you think?

For the info:

Did the police know at the time of arrest she had dementia - NO

If she had dementia, why was she allowed to roam the streets buy herself

Before you start attacking the police, where are her carers that should be looking after her in the first place

@nedkelly so breaking her arm would be okay if she didn’t have dementia? Lmao

@nedkelly [c=004A59]She might not have had any family or friends still living. She was 75 and obviously physically frail...so I don't think the police had much of an excuse for being so rough with her.[/c]

@NoahB I know it is hard for you to think, where are her carers as she should not be allowed out in the first place, the lady is elderly and the break of the arms could be caused by other medical reasons as well.

@nedkelly No mate, her shoulder was dislocated and an arm broken by the arresting officer. I’d show you the video, but I can’t connect to wifi for YouTube where I am at the moment.
Also, it’s very apparent that the arresting officer knew exactly what he’d done to her, as unfortunately for him the station camera and microphone captured everything he said and filmed the fist bumping with other officers.
@Oneofthestormboys Ima try to find this video.
@nedkelly It doesn't matter. The police shouldn't be handling anyone so roughly unless their life is in danger. If they are in fear for their life from someone over 70years of age and under 100 pounds, they are in the wrong line of work.
