I learned French and Spanish and it's very rewarding to be able to read literary classics in their native languages, though I know I'm missing some of the linguistic and cultural nuances.

Many years ago, I came across a book of modern Hindi poetry that I very much enjoyed. But I wished that I could read it in Hindi instead of an English translation.

Oh well, so much for being a redneck American farm girl. 👩‍🌾

@LeeInTheNorthWoods Spanish is quite easy but french fir me it's tough..
Hindi alphabets are arranged with different types and forms of sounds.. i think it carries all sounds and based on scientific explanation..
