Which Statement Would be Correct? [I Love Proper Grammar]

1. I love to eat beans (cooked not raw of course).

2. I love to eat beans (cooked not raw of course.)

Would the period go in or out of the parenthesis?

Because it is only part of the sentence in parenthesis, you place the final period outside. If the entire sentence was in parenthesis, you place on the inside.
Out. Although im uncertain of the need for specifying cooked.

Oh that was just a quick example I came up with to see where the period would go. I'm not turning that sentence in for school or anything. @stound

Out... Remember, it marks the end of a sentence...
