It is funny you post this. I was just discussing this with a friend of mine

You have to take into account that a lot of people online don't speak English fluently.

& b-cuz manni r knot angli-saxophone!
I don't need every message to be perfect. SW is a casual setting. There is a limit on what I'm willing to put up with though.

Not everybody here has English as mother tongue...

Yes when I am.writing emails to executives I watch what I write. Bit normally it's just me being me and like to say what's on my mind I typically talk from my cell phone and am.not the greatest typer. Sue me. Lol

Well, that's just sloppiness then. We have a low tolerance for that here.
Pretzel · 70-79, M
yeah but keep in mind that
1) english may not be their first language - and they speak their native tongue better than we do or
2) they are products of the public school system :)

Unfortunately, you best get used to it. Most people don't seem to appreciate the rules of grammar and the conventions of proper sentence construction.

I read in a book recently that the standard of English grammar is in decline. It's a shame. Mind you, predictive text has a lot to answer for! Oops, did I end a sentence with a preposition? ;-)

Like they threw it into a cheap knock off of google translate?
KnightRanger · 56-60, M
I agree! But then, I'm more than a little sapiosexual... ;-)
fazer1k · 56-60, M
Yeah, I always get my mucking letters fuddled up.

Is this irony? That sentence was not structured very well.
