I'm making the generalization that one knows how to form grammatically correct sentences after he/she has been to elementary school. There are, of course, exceptions, such as people who didn't learn English as their first language. However, people who are native English speakers should know how to write. My stepfather who never reads and hated school (shouldn't have even graduated high school) can still write/type sentences that make sense. It isn't that difficult. Yet, there are people who I have no idea what they are trying to say or what point they are trying to make, and that is what I dislike and find irritating.
