Saturday --> Samstag
Sunday --> Sonntag
Monday --> Montag
Tuesday --> Dienstag
Wednesday --> Mittwoch, (why so different??)
Thursday --> Donnerstag
Friday --> Freitag

"Mittwoch" literally means "mid-week."
