American with British accent

I was born in America but I have taught myself to speak with a British accent. Sometimes I've actually ask for the word ask I said it like awsk or instead of can't I would say cont, and water it would sound like wutah. I've also read somethings with a British accent and omg it sounds so fancy lol.

" Awsk" and "cont" - you're doing okay with those two, you've pitched yourself a bit upscale there.Remember that there are many different accents across the U.K.,and not what many Americans call a "British" accent.

@craig7 I have heard most accents from the British Isles but I have never heard awsk and cont.

Neither as regional accents nor as Received Pronounciation, which is the allegedly-posh, affected form of the South-Eastern voice.
