Your accent can make a big difference

I was in a restaurant at the airport. A father and son were at the table next to me, looking at the menu as my food arrived.

The father looked at me and asked, in an accent I did not recognize,

"Is that the Chinaman French Toast?"

I paused for a second and then replied, "Cinnamon."
