I am not supporting the fact that it is part of the UK 🤷♀️ just stating what it is.. and whether Ireland is completely sovereign or not, their accents understandably do sound British, hence my British comment 🤷♀️ It is not like I was making a political statement when I said Irish accents sound British to me @basilfawlty89
