I Love Accents

Why do people love accents so much? I am not saying I don't love them because I do. The Irish accent is my favorite I think.

I don't care for accents because they often make it hard for me to understand what is said. My hearing isn't the best anymore, and some accents are too much for my hearing to figure out what they are saying.
