But to answer your question it depends i guess, im a native speaker and i can tell you that if you already know a slavic language it should be easy, but if your mother tongue is english it can be sorta hard because its a really sharp language.But the good things is you pronounce things just like it is written, so you dont really have to care if you misspell a word.
Heres a rule from Vuk Karadžić ( father of our Literacy) that has to do with our language!
Piši kao što govoriš, čitaj kako je napisano!
Write how you speak, read how its written!
