If you are able to speak a foreign language, are there words you favour a good deal?

In English they have some very descriptive words that are full of potency and give you an idea about the nature of the situation or thing.

I speak enough Italian to get by, some French too.

Famiglia, I use to some people in RL, meaning Family in Italian. Sounds very 'Mafia'!

I am language impaired. I think most US citizens are. I struggled learning French in school, then Spanish and Icelandic for my medical practice.

English is missing a lot of words. There are many descriptors missing, especially. Each one word in English tends to mean only one thing. It can be a struggle to speak especially during intense moments because so much "heartfelt" and illustration is missing in it.
